Light Rail goes from University of Washington to Angle Lake Station. It makes

Sounder train travels between Lakewood and Seattle. All the major cities can be approached outside Seattle.

County Metro Transit provides bus service in downtown Seattle.

Bus Rides provides services to people who cannot use Metro’s fixed-route
system.
Water
Washington State Ferries provides the city with automobile and passenger ferry services. 22 ferries are operated and they are located around Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands.
Water Taxi provides fast ferry service. It operates two routes between Downtown Seattle, West Seattle. The West Seattle-Seattle route crosses Elliott Bay. The Vanshon Island-Seattle route between downtown Seattle waterfront and Vashon Island.
